Arm lift

Excess skin that has lost its elasticity is often considered a cosmetic defect. Sagging skin can occur with age or following excessive weight loss. The scar is placed at the inside of the arm to be more easily concealed.

By removing surplus skin, brachioplasty improves the appearance of the area of the arm where skin sags. The incision extends from the elbow to the armpit. Generally, a supplementary lipoaspiration, consisting of removing fat cells in the treated area, is not necessary.

The procedure takes about an hour and is performed under general anesthesia.
